Board & Trains are a great option for owners who do not have the time to work and train their dogs at home. Each dog will spend Monday-Friday at the facility with a private lesson on each pick-up day (Friday). There is one private lesson per training week. Homework will be assigned for the weekend so owners can work on introducing commands at home and give feedback to the trainer.
Every dog that enrolls in a Board & Train program will receive a unique URL code to access more specific information about their dog, training videos, and pictures. These videos and pictures will be updated and sent out daily, so owners can watch their dog progress each day.
During their time at Chasing Pawgress, dogs will learn all general obedience commands: Let’s go (loose leash walking), Sit, Down, Place, Recalls (come), and Heel. Behavioral issues will be addressed accordingly. Owners are welcome to request specific commands such as kennel/crate, go, out, drop it, etc…

Please note that all dogs enrolled in a Board & Train program will be required to show proof of updated vaccination records.
Training is not a one and done thing. It continues for the rest of the dog’s life. I can provide the tools to make this easier on both the dog and the owner. Every dog deserves the chance to learn and and grow through confidence building and guidance. Chasing Pawgress focuses on 3 different languages to community effectively and efficiently. These languages are food/toys, leash pressure, and verbal commands. Every dog and owner will learn these methods and understand when to use them.
