Hello!
My name is Delaney and I am a dog trainer, lover, and rescue advocate. My mission is to clear out shelters for FREE while educating all owners on dog training, behavioral issues, and shelter life. Chasing Pawgress is woman-owned and collaborates with Miles of Hope.
I offer a range of services for owners who have not participated in my shelter dog training program such as day & trains, private lessons, and board & trains. These services are offered at a much lower price than my competitors, as I am still learning and growing as a dog trainer. I specialize in general obedience and behavior modification.
Please note, I am not accepting human aggressive dogs at this time.

MY STORYMy animal career started in 2019 when I was hired as a Kennel Technician at a local shelter while attending the University of Alabama. I fell in love with working around animals. A few months later, Covid hit and I decided to move back to my beautiful home in North Texas. My little brother started a job at a doggy daycare and boarding place, so I decided to apply too. Long story short I got the job and stayed for almost 3 years. I learned so much about animal care and different breeds. My job was amazing, but I was ready for something more. That is when I found an opening at family owned dog training business. I took the leap and discovered my true passion in life, training dogs. Unfortunately, that business unexpectedly shut down 9 months after I started.
I was not ready to give up, so I started brainstorming. How could I continue training, but also make an impact on so many lives? After weeks of long emotional nights, hours of research, and tons of thinking… I came up with the idea to train shelter dogs for FREE. That is when Chasing Pawgress was born. I also offer other services like group class, private lessons, and board & trains!
